Through the Peacemaker Fellowship® and an expanding portfolio of professional development initiatives, Advance Peace provides hands-on learning, mentorship, and support for individuals at the center of urban gun violence, as well as victims, survivors, and families directly impacted by it. Our programs also serve practitioners, organizations, and agencies working to advance peace and public safety.

  • Core CVI Practitioner Training: Foundational instruction in outreach, relationship building, conflict mediation, and life mapping for those working directly with individuals affected by gun violence.
  • Leadership and Program Management Development: Training for supervisors, directors, and system partners focused on strategy, staff wellness, data tracking, and effective program evaluation.
  • Healing Centered and Trauma Informed Practice: Workshops that equip practitioners with tools to promote emotional wellness, manage secondary trauma, and create safe spaces for healing.
