Education & Collaboration Hub
The Advance Peace Education and Collaboration Hub is a national learning space designed to connect, equip, and inspire the Community Violence Intervention (CVI) workforce. It serves as a central resource for practitioners, partners, and leaders who are building safer, healthier, and more resilient communities.
Our Hub is rooted in the belief that learning is a shared experience. Through workshops, research partnerships, and peer exchanges, we create spaces where practitioners can learn from one another, explore new ideas, and strengthen their professional practice. This community of practice brings together outreach workers, Violence Intervention Specialists, city officials, funders, and system partners from law enforcement, social work, mental health, education, and public health. Together, they share insights, tools, and lessons that advance the field of CVI.

The Hub provides:
- Research and Best Practices: Access to publications, case studies, and data that highlight evidence-based approaches to reducing gun violence.
- Learning Tools and Resources: Digital content, curriculum materials, and toolkits designed to support continuous professional development.
- Workshops and Webinars: Regular sessions led by experts and practitioners focused on current issues, skill building, and leadership development.
- Peer to Peer Collaboration: Opportunities for dialogue and connection among practitioners working in different regions and systems.
- Community of Practice Gatherings: Dedicated time and space for collective learning, reflection, and innovation across the national CVI network.
